Microsilica is an ultrafine material, consisting of spherical particles, obtained in the process of cleaning the exhaust gases of furnaces in the production of technical silicon. The main component of the material is amorphous silicon dioxide (SiO2>95%) which is not hazard classified as per REACH. The Chemical Safety Report (CSR) executive summary can be downloaded here.
Packing of Micro-Silica
Packing will be done in 1 MT jumbo bags with double wall woven polypropylene.
Bags are lifted by four lifting loops.
All bags weights are guaranteed to an accuracy of 1%.
Uses of Micro-Silica
The micro silica has the following applications:
For the high-performance concrete, improve the strength of concrete, improve performance, and prolong the service life of concrete;
For the refractory material, to enhance liquidity, reduce water consumption, improve product strength and durability
For the dry powder mortar, grouting material, improve the early strength;
For the wear-resistant floor, increase fluidity, improve abrasion resistance;
For the filling for paint, coating, resin, rubber and other polymeric materials
